Does anyone remember the band Sons of Angels? I think they only ever had one major label release. Their album had a picture of an angel sitting on a Les Paul. They had some catchy 80's pop metal. It was cheese, but it was good cheese.

I suggest you pick up the cd Acid Bath-When The Kite String Pops. That's one of the best Alt metal albums I've ever owned besides Antichrist Superstar. If "When The Kite String Pops" is to heavy for you (which if you like Alice in Chains it shouldn't be) check out there 2nd album Paegan Terrorism Tactics, and no i didn't mis-spell Paegan, they spelled it like that due to their lack of intelligence (quoted by the bassist). The 2nd album is based on melody more so than the first. Check it out though, I can even burn you both cds if you wish.

Ram, you need to come check out a show man. I'll rap 80's metal with you. Have you gotten the Hollywood Rocks! boxed set? It just came out about a month ago and has some real obscure stuff from the Sunset Strip era. Personal favorites on there are Odin, Spiders & Snakes, WW III, and Jetboy just to name some. The set also has demo material from well-known bands and artists like LA Guns, W.A.S.P., Bang Tango, Jani Lane's old band Plain Jane, and a lot more. 4 discs worth of good old fashioned glam.
313, I'm aware of the first TNT album and Knights of the New Thunder. First album came out in 80 and Knights... came out in 82. They didn't truly break through till Tell No Tales was released, which was 87, I believe. Intuition was 90, then they had a string of 90's discs. Their website has another disc listed to be released in 2005, but I haven't heard anything about it.

Re: Hard to find cd's..
Use caution with the Wrathchild link or you'll end up buying garbage put out by the English band Wrathchild. Wrathchild America has 2 CDs (Climbin the Walls and 3-D). All others listed are the UK band.f.sciarrillo wrote:RAM Z wrote:I was wonder'n if anyone knew where you could find hard to get cd's?

Of course if you like Wrathchild America, you should also check out Souls at Zero (same band) - but that's another story.
This guy has a lot of stuff for sale:

He's the guy that used to run the "Tunes 'n' Teddies" store in Bedford in the mid to late 90's, and had a section at the Antique Depot flea market in Duncansville for a while after that.
