Help
I'm really sorry about your troubles , and I'm also very touched by the responses from the other musicians on the board. I'll talk to the guys from ClassicCats , and see what we can do to help. If the band isn't available , I'd like to make myself available to help , in whatever capacity you need.

Until we can get something going for a benefit, is there anything we can do in the mean time? Is there an address we might be able to send/deliver money and stuff to, etc...?

I'm not too sure exactly what your situation is, however I know of a place that you might be able to buy some stuff cheap to help get you back on your feet again. The place I'm referring to is The Country Auction in Nicktown. Every other Saturday, they have a meat auction where you can get super killer deals on food items and meat. Wayne Stiles, the auctioneer, should have some furniture sitting in the back of the auction barn. I know I bought an electric stove for $40. there at the beginning of the year. Anyways, Wayne's # is 814-749-7570. Call him, explain the situation, and tell him John Solinski told you to call him.

As many people out there no,there is nothing here in Huntingdon. I don't really no were we could hold something in the Huntingdon area. That's why I was hoping someone else had something in mind. If anyone can still come up with something let me no. If anyone tries to contact me please be patient. I have been using a friends computer and I will get back to you A.S.A.P. Thanks again. Sorry I have not been able to contact anyone lately. This is the first chance I have been able to get to a computer in the last couple days. About the County Line Inn. That is completely out of the question. LOL I have to laugh about that one. I'll explain why. Don't get me wrong John can be a nice guy. But the only problem with that is, the trailer I was living in was his. I was living in one of those trailers there by the County Line. And me and John no longer get along. When the fire happened he never even showed up to see if everything was ok that night. And the next day I went to start moving some of my stuff out of there and my friend that was with me at the time had went into the bedroom were the fire had started that night and had seen that it was starting again. It was throwing sparks out from underneth the trailer. We contacted the fire company again. The came over and said that the was a bare wire somewhere hitting against the framming of the trailer. That the frame of the trailer was getting am electrical charge. From my understanding this makes his 4th fire there at this place in a little over a years time. Any how that day he comes over and tells me not to move out that he will fix everything up for us. I told him no way I have kids Im not taking that chance, so he got pissed. that about sums it up.

Sounds to me like you should call a lawyer. Not only did you lose all your posessions, but your landlord knowingly put your family at risk. Normally, I'm not one to advocate civil action, but your landlord's flagrant negligence in not repairing the known electrical problem that caused the fire should not be overlooked. The came over and said that the was a bare wire somewhere hitting against the framming of the trailer. I agree with Lonewolf!! Problem is - do you need money to talk to a lawyer? Maybe this would be a good time to call Edgar Synder!!!lonewolf wrote:Sounds to me like you should call a lawyer. And, although I haven't posted to this topic before, Beyond Reason is always willing to help out with benefits if we can!!!! I don't know if we would be able to help anytime soon since our Drummers wife had a baby a couple days ago, our bass player broke his arm (although Jae has been a huge help in filling in for him) and my wife is due in about 7 weeks. But hell, we would still try to help if anything starts getting off the ground with this!!!
Hang in there man!! I am wondering if there is something we could all do for this family in the meantime? There are enough of us on here that truly care - we have to be able to come up with something!!!
