The Govs out on bail and back to work. Which means could still appoint someone to that seat. The last I heard the Illinois Legislature was trying to strip him of this power, and create a special election for the seat.

Jesse Jackson Jr. Admitted he was the fifth canidate. It is also out that the Gov. was offered $1,000,000.00 to give Jackson the seat.
There is also talk that Obama knows more than he is letting on. Then we will see about that. Either way, his sec of state pick is up on the chopping block next; as him and the Gov. were close "buddies".
This is going to make for some great conspiracy theory. I can see Oliver Stone making a movie about this one now...
I heard that Obama was also wire-tapped and apparently gave no indication of involvement. I'm glad, to tell you the truth. I don't want him to be part of it, i want him to be a stand up guy and deliver on his words. if he does even close to the things he said he will without breaking my bank he'll have my support.
