I didn't realize that was your first game. Pretty awesome atmosphere, no? You weren't stumblin too bad, lol. My daughter asked, "who was that?" I said, 'A rockstar from Altoona!' :D

HAHAHA!!! I know why I wasn't stumbling too bad. I was already hung over by then from all the damn pre-game festivities. We didn't take enough liquor into the stadium to maintain our buzz, so I developed a hangover by the beginning of the fourth quarter. Don't worry, I drank it away rather quickly after I saw you. And Yes, the atmosphere was definitely awesome!!! I see why people get addicted. The people I went with are from VA, and they bought a 200 thousand dollar house in State College just to have a place to crash after games. Talk about being "hooked" More money than brains is the proper terminology, I believe.

Wow Brian, you did it the right way! :) Almost 3 years ago when my daughter and I attended the PSU/Wisconsin game (my mom had won the tickets/yellow parking pass), it was a BLAST from start to finish, even totally sober. (She attended a few games with friends her freshman and sophomore years and I'd guess paid more than I'll ever want to know for the tickets.) This past Summer, before she had found a place to live up there for her junior year, my daughter had procured tickets for all home games. Yup, her priorities were definitely in order! KIDS!!! :)

There is nothing else like a PSU home game! I say that never having been to an NFL game, but still...I can't imagine they even come close, although I patiently await the day I can test that theory. :D
