Awesome. I'm serious Bob, if we can set a date I'm all about a float trip.
I don't even care if it's a weekday.( Maybe after a little more rain) I have a ton of vacation days to use up. we should make a different thread though, because now I believe it has been officially hi-jacked.

That would be awesome.

But I suppose that Hoedown is kind of like a Central Pa Woodstock.

What is this "Hoedown" you speak of??? Seriously, never heard of it...

They use to do a thing like that outside of Newport in Perry Co. But after a few a few years "the man" shut it down. :(

This dude had acres and acres of land. He charged like 10 bucks a person. Had like 2 stages. You could camp. They had food there... Just like this but on a smaller scale.

I'm talking like on those video scale....

I went to Creation last night and it definitely was not quiet. There were well over 100,000 people there and the sound system was enormous and you could hear it miles away. I was about 25 feet from the main stage and I am still feeling the effects since the ground was actually shaking from the volume and pounding my chest (just the way I like it).

Three of the bands that played the main stage last night were Starfield and they were good, Kutless is a great hard rock band, and The Newsboys once again put on one of the most fantastic, entertaining shows I have ever seen. Those guys know how to do an outstanding stage show as well as being good players and they write the catchiest songs as anybody that cover a wide range of styles.

I have to give them credit his year!...The traffic moved well...I usually have traffic backed up from Orbi to the gate which is about 7 miles past my house..They left them out 3 different ways and it was steady but never stopped except for 2 miles from Orbi to the Mini Freeze. A lot left Sat. night (they must have learned from previous years)....A lot of the back up was when they wanted to go to the Minute-Mart but cops went out to clear it out and send some to the next station in Shade Gap..I parked my show truck out front and the kids had a sign that I painted "Honk 4 Jesus!"... They had a blast waving to all the cars ,bands in tour buses, and tractor trailers hauing the stage and sound equipment out that were honking... I have friends that sold ice and went over 8,000 lbs. :D

LOL...the kids got bored and it kept falling over like 6 times...So I looked up and asked HIM to help me hold the sign up ...and with his power, alitte prayer, and a 2x6 it stayed up the rest of the day!!...Truly inspirational!!!

I was gonna paint " HONK FOR CHRIST-SAKE!!"..but thought that would be too offensive...

As a redneck, it was the only entertainment we had till the bug zapper came on!...
