The Blue Oyster Cult, Don't Fear The Reaper in the mega movie from Steven King: THE STAND

When it becomes apparent that Captain Tripps is loose and only a few will survive!!

You really had to read the damn book to love the movie. All 4 inches of it.

Yeah, even at four nights worth of movie, it was still so much "thinner" than the book, but I too love both. To this day I can't hear "Reaper" without thinking of all the dead people on the military base.

Of course, who also does not think of "more cowbell" when they hear this tune?!?

I loved that book, the movie was decent for a Stephen King movie, sometimes they're just so-so.
I'm generally more of a book reader than a movie watcher anyway.
