That's no .50 caliber...a .50 caliber (bore is half an inch) has a bullet diameter of around 12.7mm. What he's holding is a 20mm anti-tank rifle from Finland. It's a WWII-era design. There are some around in the US today but they're pretty expensive, as is their ammunition. Much more expensive than any .50 caliber.
