While I'm not an advocate of most psycho-dynamic theories (due to their lack of empirical proof and inability to be falsified), I think that Erickson had the most complete psycho-dynamic theory. Freud's theory didn't take into account important social factors and stated that personality was developed at much too early of an age. Erickson's theory focused on both sexual and social development and personality was a lifelong development. Though I think that Karen Horney also had a pretty good theory when it comes to neurotic personalities.
I'm not sure which school of psychology Captain Grammar comes from, but my guess is that he's a behaviorist.
