ok well, lets put it this way...there was like 80 people when we did our first show @ the community center.....and they ALL were headbanging....to US!!!!
.....and its on dvd, sucka!
ANYWAY
we would need somewhere that allows us to PARTY and have a GOOD time. The center might work, but its a little outta the way for most people.

That would be cool if we could get a night or 2 at Aldo's ...
Or wouldnt that work?
If we had Friday and Saturday we could have 3 or 4 bands play each night.
Any suggestions?

Well, with all who are interested, where are you coming from? I'm sure we could get a centralized location based off of that information for starters.SpellboundByMetal wrote:

No offense against anyone into ECW when I say this, but...yeah I would like to meet all metalheads, but...poolpimp911 wrote:SCI FI Channel Presents ECW Live!
Date: August 21, 2006
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Venue: Jaffa Mosque
City/State: Altoona, PA
On-Sale Date: Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 a.m.
Tickets $25
1) I'm not paying $25, because I'm cheap (and because of the next two reasons).
2) How are we actually going to hang out when there will be a hell of a lot of other people screaming for their favorite wrestler.
3) How many people will actually be paying attention to each other and not the wrestling matches?
I know it was just a suggestion...and I'm not yelling, I'm just trying to make a point, or 3 hahaha

I think we should pick a date. Maybe early sept.? Then we can move forward with a venue. As far as sound being a pain in the ass, this would be something the bands wouldn't get paid for anyways,(just wouldn't be worth dividing between 6 bands) so any club owner would have to be crazy to not do this. Regardless, to move forward with this we first need a date. My suggestion is Sept. 1st or 2nd.

Thats the big show the manager from Lost Ledney puts on..
That might cut back on people showing up....

September 9-10 I think would be best.. i dont think any of the aforementioned bands have shows those nites .. it gives us a little extra time to promote/convince a club owner..
im down for whatever - ill help out in any way, plus by then i'll be 21 so i can go to aldos or wherever.. basically i just wanna help in any way possible, as it looks right now my involvement in music is going to be helping an upstart promotions team - so ill be able to help out with this as much as possible..
but i like Gelvin's idea.. show, then drinking bash.. it would definately be WICKED (love how you capitalize the word "wicked" now man.. great stuff haha)

Sept. 9-10th sounds good. I'm sure everyone in FedUP would be into it, as long as it doesn't interfere with anyone's "real" job. We have no shows scheduled that weekend. Any venue works for me so now all we need is for someone to book it. (assuming this date works for everyone).

That would be awesome. Ha maybe i can bring you some Jack Daniels then since you will be 21. Also not to mention i will be off that weekend and it won't mess with my job.AtoMikEnRtiA wrote:September 9-10 I think would be best.. i dont think any of the aforementioned bands have shows those nites .. it gives us a little extra time to promote/convince a club owner..

hey guys, i know this early septenber was kicked around about this show. I think it is a great idea. That date in question might not be good for us, a couple of us have things going on in that time frame, since we have nothing booked in that time. FedUP definatly wants to participate in this gathering, maybe lets try early october, 6/7 that is most suitable for every one in this band. As far as a venue we can all decide on that, wont be to late to do it outside even. Keep this idea going

47 posts and we still can't get a date...haha. Are we at least in agreement for the venue?
I should be good for 10/7, provided I can get my vacation. But, I need to know a solid date, because I don't want to be putting it in and taking it back out and putting another one in and back and forth. So if we're not in agreement with the venue, at least try to get a date
