Whoa Bobby, you just blew my mind for the first time today!
Actually, I think Tony Saletan and Bassist_25 are actually one being inhabiting two different bodies within the same time/space continium.
Whoa Jason, you just blew my mind for the second time today!

I'm not sure if I am the "real deal", but I have gleaned some wisdom from Richard Pryor about the dangers of applying cologne to your nuts (Sanchez take note!)

I hope it's not Capt. Grammar. He'd have his hands full with that dumb bastard speaking.

Yes, you are correct Mr. Sanchez. Many of us English professors have been quite bothered by the grammatical incorrectness that has been present during the current administration's stay in Washington. Pish-posh on No Child Left Behind; the President cannot even properly speak let alone enact legislation that is suppose to be for the betterment of this country's educational system. The putrid syntax of ebonics is like a William Blake masterpiece when compared to Bush's hackeneyed dialect of drunken cocaine binges and questionable National Guard service.
If plain and proper English is what you seek, I am the purveyor of such. You're welcome.

You know, broken rhetoric and abnormal theorizing of a humanoid is one if the most enjoyable things in this psychotic world we live in. Think about it; you have a President who can't speak proper English, let alone annunciate correctly, but yet he is the most powerful man in the world. It makes one think about the state of ones well being in things governmental, socially, physically, or mentally for that matter. I know it makes me wonder.

This is why I state the fact that the next election will not have a winning Republican. With all the non ethical hijinks and mumbo jumboed pish posh garbage that comes out of Washington makes you think that it is more of a stand up comedy then a Liberalized organization ..

Not to worry, I won't bring up this stupidity proved Iraqi deal, or the more stupidity proved immigration problem. I'll be here for a week explaining my loathness for it .. Well, I wouldn't say I loath it, I do; I despize it more than the fact.

note: Sorry if the grammar was off. I am tired ..

It's pretty harmless. If you speak in public for years at a time, you're bound to say a few things that will sound pretty dumb, especially out of context.

Then again, this isn't exactly a great display of wit on W's part either. If you aren't in bright sunlight and the guy is wearing shades, if you're W you have to assume there's at least a good possibility that the guy is blind. If it's in sunlight, then why even comment about the shades? W must go nuts on his Secret Service agents then. "Nice shades, Agent Double-O-Bono." "How's it going Four Eyes? Have you met Four Eyes over here? No, not the guy on the rooftop. The other Four Eyes."

You bring up very important points, Mr. Sciarrillo. It is a sad thing that neither major political party truly represents the average American. The Republicans are a myriad of religious fundementalist who are only concerned with corporate America. The Democrats are ivy league wealthy sychophants who misrepresent their concern for working class America. The other parties seem overly concerned with red herring issues that are not strong enough to warrant them as contenders in today's political environment.

Your grammar was satisfactory for the most part, though stupidity should not be used as an adverb. Your last conjuction requires no comma. An ellipsis is three periods. Your last sentence is a comma-splice. I would suggest putting a semicolon before "I do". Ennunciate is spelled with an e. One is used in the possesive case, so it requires an apostrophe. Non-ethical should have a hyphen. Liberalized does not need to be capitalized. Loathness should be spelled loathing. I would give you a B-.

You're welcome.

Your infinite ways of boring people to death will soon come to an end imposter. Remember it was I who stood up for the good people of Rockpage when the "vocabulary butcher" was flaming up these boards.

No surrender, indeed.

Wow ... I didn't realize G.W. was so many people's dad ...

FOR THE RECORD:

The point of the original posting, for those who have their right-wing blinders on, was to possibly inspire a light hearted chuckle over just one of the "brazillian" Bushisms our glorious commander-in-chief spews forth on a daily basis. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Of course he didn't know the guy had a vision problem. How could he? The fact is, however, that Mr. Bush and the things he says and does are held to a higher level of scrutiny than most due to the fact that he IS THE PRESIDENT.

The irony of the situation is funny unless you have a broomstick up your ass or you are having a love affair with G.W. I don't hate the man — I don't know him — he's probably a real nice guy, but, when he does something stupid, whether or not it's his fault, it makes me laugh. $hit, when I do or say something stupid, it makes me laugh, too (I laugh a lot, BTW  ). Try it sometime. The laughing thing. Not everything in the world has to be flat-out serious.

Did Cheney mean to shoot his buddy in the face? I'll bet not. I'm sure it was a simple accident, and it was cool the guy wasn't seriously hurt, but being who Cheney is, it was fodder for late night talk show hosts for weeks.

Over-sensitive? Reread your post, then read the big red words in your sig line below it, contemplate the concept of irony, then look in the mirror and we'll start talking about who's over sensitive. Cripes. :?

** If this thread offends you, unread it.

Thanks to the majority of the people who posted here for taking life light and not getting your panties in a bunch.

LW you forgot your smiley faces

If you like to make fun of ole GW, I have a couple of paper-backs titled "Bushisms" I got them a couple of years ago when there was only two volumes. I am sure by now there are at least a couple more. They have ALL of the stupid shit he has ever said in them. :) They could make a Napoleonic Dynomitish movie about him after he leaves office

I see all the "usual" political know-nothing jackholes didn't take long to congregate here. Another Joke thread is gonna go south cause of this GAY-ASS Bullshit.

Let nobody ever say that Bad days doesn't know how to get a crowd

I am gonna write a book about how rockpagers run the country by day, but at night they actually play to record crowds at the local beer barn. Whining and stuperficial dumbidisms would actually be "usefull" powers to have in the world. But, hey they would have found Osama a lot faster, because they would have heard him laughing to loudly at them, giving away his position

Pure fiction, of course

Bummer. The comment didn't get nearly as much attention as I expected.

Oh well, better luck next time. Maybe I should have posted smiley faces.
