I went with Tony Iommi on this one.

I looked at the updated bracket and there are some interesting picks coming up.

Brain May on this one.

Tony Iommi is going up against Dave Mustaine or John Petrucci next. Either way he won't make it past the next round. In fact, I think Pretrucci will clean them both out.

Went with Brian May on that one. Jimmy Page should have an easy road to the final four in that bracket. It looks like they were trying to set up a Page-Beck showdown there.

The other brackets are really tough to call. The "blues rock" bracket still has Hendrix, SRV, Clapton and Gilmour. The "flash guitar" bracket is just as crazy with EVH, Rhoads, Satch and Vai. I have no idea what's going to happen in the "metal/prog" bracket, wow...

It is getting to a point where you have to choose one. This was a really tough one, but I went with SRV. They are both freaking awesome, though.

I think that if you would ask Clapton which one he would choose, he would say SRV as well. He has stated that the first time he heard SRV play, he was blown away.

Had to go with Clapton, he has just added so much to classic rock with Cream and then the Layla album and now the blues and the Crossroads gigs and cds. The guy might have to be voted MVP of rock and blues.

As much as I love Billy Gibbons, how could you vote against Hendrix????

He is way ahead, and will probably have to face the winner between David Gilmore and Angus Young. In an upcoming match-up its Duane Allman vs Dickey Betts.....totally evil!!! How does any Allman Brothers Band fan vote on that choice?

In a perfect world, it would end in a tie.

Man, these are starting to get so tough. I ended up going with Hendrix as well. I love Gibbons playing, but you can't vote against Hendrix. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if Hendrix is the winner of the whole thing.

Satriani is ahead by about 24 points, and he will have to go up against the winner of Steve Vai and Richie Blackmore.

Vai will win that one. Man, Stach or Vai? That is going to be so hard! Oy Vey....

I just looked at the bracket and Gilmour is going against Angus Young next, then he will be going against Hendrix. Doh!

The bracket looks good now. It is going to get tough from on out....

I am going to predict the final match up right now: It will Hendrix going against Randy Rhoades, with Hendrix winning it all..

I will predict the final 4 as Jimi, Jimmy Page, EVH and Petrucci. This is based on the way they have the brackets structured. I think Frank has the final match called right.

My ideal final 4 would be: Hendirx, Buddy Guy, John McLaughlin and Roy Buchanan.
