WOW!!!!!!!!

Post by byndrsn »

What a night! If anyone missed it...... kick yourself in the junk!! (if that's possible) I gotta say, I never REALLY realized the talent that we have in the local music scene and it was an honor to be on the same bill as a few.

Last night we played out at Glenn's with The Rudy's, Shift, The Trace Moran Band and Hair Force One. These guys (and gal) ROCK!!!!!

I had a blast and just wanted to extend a "Job Well Done" to youz guys for helping raise some cash for a great cause.

Rudy's.... one word. ROCKED! Never heard you guys before but definitely would check out your "Backyard" again.... Great tunes!!

Martin.... whoah dude, what the PHUCK was that? You are phunking insane man, what a mix..... and the dancin through the crowd rocked, talk about creating original medleys......SHIFT, You guys are DEAD NUTS, right on top of it!!

Trace and the boys.... NICE! I like to think that I have a broad range of musical interests and you guys brought out some of the best and rocked it out. I'm a sucker for "chick singers" anyhow, but Trace..... you got it all in that voice of yours, backed up by some of the areas best. Realizing that you guys are "senior's" in the scene..... I didn't realize you'd need to jet so soon.... but I guess the community "C.A.R.T" bus doesn't run that late!

HAIR FORCE ONE.... once again, AMAZING!!!!!!! The hair, the gear, the songs.... phuckin-A you guys rock. My only regret is that I couldn't keep those beeaatches off of Jimmy Hatt fast enough! I pity you guys! I don't know how you can remain on stage with all of those young beautiful girls climbing all over you..... I mean the fact that you remain composed enough to finish each song  is amazing!!!! Seriously, you guys are awesome.... thanks for a great show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My only real regret is that my best friend and co-guitarist couldn't join us on stage last night. You see, being that Urbss has the long hair, and was standing by the Hair Force One bus when we got there last night.....was naturally mistaken for Victor Syn and was mauled by several of Claysburg's finest and taken into the van!! Sorry about the seats fella's..... they can be cleaned, Tom may never recover! Seriously, we missed you bro'!!!

Again..... if you missed it, you missed it big! The night ROCKED!!!

Dan!
Thanks so much for including us on the Rock for a Cure 2004 roster! We had a wonderful time and everyone sounded great!
Looking forward to hearing more from everyone in the summer ahead!
Keep on Rockin'!

What a great show, and a helluva fun night! Thanks to everyone who came out and supported a great cause, Glenn's for hosting the event, and to dwertz and crew for keeping everything sounding good under chaotic circumstances!

Special shout-out to The Rudys, who write incredibly catchy stuff. I dare you to listen to them without singing along!

And Trace Moran Band for their classy, sophisticated sound with unequalled vocal horsepower. Can't wait to see them in a situation where they can really stretch out and strut their stuff; they definitely got crunched by the "band-a-minute" formula last night.

Shift and Beyond Reason are terrible bands that no one should ever be forced to listen to. Hah, just seeing if you were paying attention! Great guys one and all, who got the crowd equally pumped up despite having completely different sounds.

As far as the mob of girls on stage goes, we usually don't complain. Not at all! But when they start tackling me in the middle of "Eruption" . . . . . that's when I wave for security.

Hey! I wondered where the rest of the ladies were! Damn you Beyond Reason guys! Damn you! LoL Seriously, It was a great night of fun and music. It was a pleasure to see some bands I hadn't had the chance to see yet and everyone kicked ass! Thanks again to the NPC Relay for Life team for allowing us to play alongside some great people and musicians for a great cause!

Dan,

Thanks buddy!! I know you were aware that it was eating me up inside that I couldn't be playing beside you Saturday night!! Reading your post made me feel a little better - it is nice to be missed! Now I must wonder how long it will take you guys to figure out how much better you sounded without my drunken ass on stage with you

Seriously - Thanks!! I love you guys!

It sounds like the whole night rocked - and I think it is great that 5 bands and Dave Wertz got together and gave up their time for such a wonderful cause!

Hats off to all of you!!!
