Liberal spin Bill. We cut some funding to Geothermal and Hydropower energies. We did this because private companies are able to take on these projects because the technology is already there. So, instead of funding that, we are pushing towards bio-fuels and such which would help on the gas and oil front. The government doesn't fund coal power plants, why should they fund these others? Leave it to the companies to get them running and not wastefully throw money at shit. Why do people believe that throwing money at everything works? It doesn't!
Rob, Rob, Rob. It cost LOTS of MONEY to do the research. In case you haven't noticed, we're still totally reliant on forign oil. We HAVE to spend the money for the research. This is not the republican rhetoric "Throwing money at it". Unless you enjoy being led by the nose by the oil barrons.RobTheDrummer wrote:Liberal spin Bill. Bill, Bill, Bill. Why throw money at something that has been researched and perfected already? That's up to the companies to start making these plants. Throw money at research for alternate fuels! Not electricity!Hawk wrote:Rob, Rob, Rob. It cost LOTS of MONEY to do the research. In case you haven't noticed, we're still totally reliant on forign oil. Tonight is the night - I will some it up for you all, seeing that it comes on in about 15 minutes.
"Iraq this, Iraq that" Standing ovation - Hillary Rolling her eyes while she claps, or maybe just sleeping. Some butchering of the english language with his "Unusual" metaphor's, more applause. Then more about Iraq and terrorism. He will then end with Ted Kennedy making a toast, even though he will already be baked.

Right now genocide is goin on in Dar Fur. Diplomatic solutions can solve the problem. We shouldn't just ignore it like we have been doing. What do you think we should do ?undercoverjoe wrote:Do you want us to go to Dar For or however its spelled, and start fighting radical Islamic facists? "First, we must balance the federal budget. (Applause.) We can do so without raising taxes. (Applause.) What we need is impose spending discipline in Washington, D.C. We set a goal of cutting the deficit in half by 2009, and met that goal three years ahead of schedule. (Applause.) "
And how do we do this?
more money for troops...
more money for alternative energy...
more money for the strategic petroleum reserve...
more money for health insurance...
more money for no children left behind...
more money for AIDS...
more money for malaria in Africa...
more money for the Milennium Challenge Account...
more money for the Border Patrol...
more money for the wall...
This guy sounds more like a moderate democrat.

Defend Christians whenever they are being slaughtered by radical Islamic terrorists. Lets face it, the next world war will be against Islam extremists.Hawk wrote:Right now genocide is goin on in Dar Fur. Diplomatic solutions can solve the problem. Diplomatic solutions with Islamic extremism is rather funny.
