What album did you listen to most?
What album did you listen to most?
Okay this differs from the "Favorite Album" thread, in that, sometimes you have to listen to something. Case in point: DMFJ has had a collection of Coheed & Cambria playing at the store for over a year. I think I may have logged more hours listening to it than any other record, and that's saying a bunch... I seldom listen to a record twice in a row, but I've listened to Pink Floyd's "The Wall" many, many times. Same with Judas Priest's "British Steel," Rush's "2112," Toto's "Turn Back," and all the early Kiss records.
What record have you listened to the most times, the whole way through?--->JMS

There is a long list of albums that qualify for the answer to this question for me, but among the most prominent ones are: Queensryche's Operation: Mindcrime, Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon, Led Zeppelin's fourth album and Houses Of The Holy, Yes' Fragile and Close to the Edge, Porcupine Tree's In Absentia, System Of A Down's self-titled album, Strapping Young Lad's Alien, Nazareth's Hair Of The Dog...See, I told you it's a long list, and that's only part of it!
Good thread. I listened to all of these over and over and over.
Some of them, from vynil to cassette to CD.
Sargent Pepper was among the first vynil albums I bought. It was the first cassette I bought. And it was the first CD I bought.
In no particular order.
Fragile....................................... by Yes
Close to the Edge....................... by Yes
Trilogy....................................... by Emerson Lake and Palmer
Thick as a Brick ..........................by Jethro Tull
The Yes Album............................by Yes
Sargent Pepper...........................by The Beatles
Magical Mystery Tour...................by the Beatles
Selling England by the Pound........by Genesis

...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...
There's been different albums for different stages in my life: Here are a few
Gamma - Gamma - Ronnie Montrose killer playing. Taught me a lot
Jeff Beck - There and Back - Many, many spins on the turn table, cassette deck and CD player
Peter Gabriel - So - Different kind of playing, more emotional levels
Robbie Robertson - First solo CD. Over 1000 listens, no problems
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine - At least 5 times a day for years. Still love that disc.
Tool - Undertow - In my mind the combination of NIN, Peter Gabriel and Pink Floyd. Who knows how many spins I've given this.....
