I just discovered they're set to release a new album in the spring. Anybody else dig Manowar?

Yes, I have previously listened to them years ago. They remind me of a band called Damian*, which was right around the same time. There was also another band like that called Victory; they were a lot like Racer X.pearl6866 wrote:Yeah I used to listen to them years ago, they remind me of a band called Damian. which was rite around that same time, there was also another band like that called victory, they were alot like Racer X.......................

Yes, we've waxed every hair off our our Adonis-like bodies and shined ourselves up with baby oil...just for you!

Always avoid passive clauses, especially when it is not the same tense or mode with the rest of the paragraph:Capt. Grammar wrote:Yes, I have previously listened to them years ago. ...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...
The words "passive clauses" imply that you are speaking in plural. Such being the case, your sentence should read as follows:Always avoid passive clauses, especially when it is not the same tense or mode with the rest of the paragraph:

Oh, Captain Grammar! What are we becoming?
