I really don't see much coming of this. I think that there will be a cease fire and the soldiers will be returned. Of course, I've been wrong about things before. Either way, I just hope that we keep our noses out of it, which we unfortunatley won't. Granted, Hezbollah is a terrorist organiztation and should be dealt with accordingly, but playing policeman with Middle Eastern politics is why people are flying planes into our skycrapers in the first place.

I'm with Jimi and Sanchez on this one. The whole My God could beat up your God shit got old 500 years ago. I hate to see innocent people die, but I've become so jaded with the neanderthal mentality over who has rights to the Holy Land that I franky don't give an airborne fornication as long as I'm not involved.

I am so proud of the Isreali response to saving their soldiers. One 19 yr old corporal is abducted and they GO after him with a vengence. We had 2 soldiers captured, we did not go and try to find them, and they were returned so tortured and mutilated they were practically unrecognizable.

If you were a 19 year old soldier, whose army do you feel will back you up better?

I think the Isrealis are showing us how to fight against terrorism. I hope our generals are watching.

i think their response was detestable.. you dont just go annihalating everything in sight because of 1 soldier - you try diplomacy, no matter how hard it may be.. after that, you use special tactics and intellegence to get right to them.. you dont go right into blowing the fucking shit out of the countryside.. thats just my opinion

once again you're being the typical neo-con on this .. Al Qaeda and Usama bin Laden have NOTHING to do with current day's events.. this is Hezbollah, a completely different terror faction and cell - and if you've ever seen the movie "Persona Non Grata" (of course you havent - it's an Oliver Stone movie.. what the fuck am I thinking?) you will take note that they, along with Islamic Jihad and Hamas have all stated that if the US stays out of Middle East business - they have no problems.. whatsoever..

not in that sense.. but you cant say that in a way it was, as un-intentional as it may be.. most of your current day israelis are polish, or eastern european desent correct.. and a good chuck of poland/eastern europe during WWII were jewish - im not saying thats it, but mostly because of the large influx of eastern europeans who fled to the middle east during the second world war..
