STEELERS 21 - Seahawks 10
WHAT A GAME!!! I thought the STEELERS were simply very nervous in the first 1/2. My daughter knows football rules fairly well. I remarked that I thought the TD Ben made was questonable, but she said something about the ball not being visible the entire time he was in the air, there being an "on field rule" or something like that, said they would give it to him - and they did.
I questioned the push off too, but there are rules for a reason. (My daughter informed me that only Plays can be challenged, not Penalties. 
) As the announcers said, he did it right in front of the official and was assessed the penalty. I was on the phone speaking to my oldest son when Parker broke away...that was GREAT, as were Ward's catches. Ward deserved the MVP. The STEELERS didn't play their best game of the year, not by a long shot, but they played a much cleaner game than Seattle and did indeed WIN!!! (Their blatant holding definitely warranted the penalties Seattle received.)
The Siren at the firehall went off in celebration with 3 seconds left and people were yelling and WHOO HOOing outside, including us!
I'm glad The Bus, if he chooses to retire, can do so with his pinnacle reached. The rest of the STEELER Team will be a major force to be reckoned with next season, now that they know it can be done!!!
