I hate to be any type of catylyst for your venom but come on! If you are unhappy and lonely then you might want to try the non-alienation approach.
That means not being an idiot, not provoking people to pick a fight, not being antagonistic.

I have met people that wanted to be good people and really wanted to have friends, they just were really shitty at doing it. It seemed that everything that they would say would come out wrong and piss people off. Are you one of those people?

Or, are you just an ass? Are you very heavy and not able to get out much? Do you have kids, and if you do do they like you? Are you married?

So I say we take this thread and let our family here on Rockpage try to decide if you are;

A. Just an ass

B. Someone who wants to be loved but cannot let it happen

or

C. Some type of mutant alien growth.

I see this is in php... so there is a possibility the ip is logged when people post. If the trolls ip is static, or even dynamic (sometimes they don't renew often) there is a chance the admins can use previous logged ip's to figure out who no surrender is. Often even a google search of an ip will return a result, especially if the offender posted on a guestbook that shows the ip of posters. On the same note, perhapse enabling the public viewing of ip's of those who post here would help prevent trolls. It may have negatives as well (creating ddos targets) so its just something to consider. In addition, although they could still hide their actual ip, it may add a little paranoia to the troll's life. I realize things like this are supposed to be PM'd to certain members of this forum, but public knowledge of this may help dissuade trolling behavior. Remember, you aren't as anonymous as you may think on the net.

I have no qualms about saying to someone what I think, but there are some subjects best not discussed in person. "Getting along" is a 2-way street.
