Maybe original will come back, then. From the way it sounds...they will be taking tabs away, soon they will be banning cover bands, and DJ's.
Original Music or Die is what it sounds like to me.

If anyone happens to come across the Powertabs.net archive on P2P, please share! It would basically be every tab from powertabs.net saved as one .zip file.
One of the folks that run the site suggested in their forums that IF powertabs.net goes away permanently, they would release the whole archive like that. But for all we know, it may have already been done, either recently or in the past.

Powertabs.net was up to 22,500 tabs before the big shutdown, but 5000 is certainly nothing to sneeze at!FretBored wrote:Downloading file now 5000 power tabs for guitar... Is this the one?

What ruled about Powertabs.net was how clean it was. No gaudy banner ads, no popups, smooth interface, and a strict submission review policy. All meat, no filler. I hope it survives in some form, because they really had a good community.

If youth knew; if age could.
