Here is a website with information about Hardrock, Coco & Joe with photos from the film short and the lyrics to the song. One of the very interesting things about this song and the Suzy Snowflake, and Frosty the Snowman short films is that they were all done accapella.

I haven't seen this down here in NC, so it was nice to be reminded of it at this time of year. (And at NANTYGLO.com, go figure.) LOL

Merry Christmas, Ya'all!

I got a copy of Hardrock, Coco, & Joe along with Frosty the Snowman, Suzy Snowflake, and the very hard to find Peter Cottontail animated short films that were all made by the same production company on DVD now. The DVD also includes some very old cartoons like Clutch Cargo, The Fun Company, Diver Dan and some others.

Now, I can watch Hardrock, Coco, & Joe as much as I want. This is a Christmas classic.

Moxham 123,

Where did you get the DVD? Do you know if it's still available?

Big Jim,

I got the DVD back in March on Ebay from a guy in Chicago.

The DVD I got has 20 cartoons that were all shown on Chicago TV station WGN back in the 1950's. It runs about 100 minutes.

I might be able to get a copy for you. Let me know.
