Mine was my 30th last year. My bandmates and some freinds got me a plane ticket to San Fran for their final halloween show by my favorite swing band Lee Press-On and The Nails. Totally took me by surprise and i had needed a vacation really bad. Best trip and birthday i've ever had. Best bandmates i've ever had i tell you what.
Anyway das my story

I've had a bunch. My wife's family usually heads to the beach during the middle of July. My birthday is July 16th. So, several times during the past 9 or 10 years, we've been at the beach on my birthday. It has been great - no work, lots of drinking, the surf and sand, lots of drinking, playing acoustic guitar on the balcony, lots of drinking, bikinis (a few), good eats and of course lots of drinking. What more could a guy ask for?

I'm not sure which one was the best because I have so many great memories of all of these birthdays!!!

Bit*chen, you rock! Let's see,
a party when I was 5, one when I was 9 (Odd age, I know.) - and these were your "normal" parties, at home, with a few friends and cousins...I recall my sister's boyfriend, Dave, was at the first one. He died several years ago...it was his Beatles albums I heard...he was like a big brother. Next one was 16, friends put me on stage at a "The Other Side" dance and I got "gifts" from the band of a Tequila stopper and a beer tab chain... I have simple tastes, what can I say? 17, I went Bowling with friends and my sweety followed us there and to Burger King...fast forward to this year, 42 - I started celebrating "out" for the first time since the age of 30, at midnight on St. Patrick's Day with Felix and the Hurricanes, continued later that night in the same place, Peter C's, with "The Showman", Rick Ramsey and friends. It just happened to also be Rick's 32nd Birthday. I don't know where I'll be celebrating it, but I can't wait until next year, it'll be on a Saturday! WHOO HOO!!! :D

All right Bit*chen, how about you?

This year (July) when I turned 30. My wife threw an outside party for me. The most important people in the world to me were there and my own band provided the entertainment. It was great!

Well i would have to say me best was my 18th because my mom took me out to dinner in a limo( she was the owner of the limo company)... it was my most memorable because my mom just passed away last year and i miss her alot.

But my 21st was awesome too.... we went out and bar hopped!
