What happened to "Electric Blue"?

Post by Banned »

Does anyone know what ever happened to the band "Electric Blue". bunch of young guys from Tyrone blues and their own originals???

They were all very good, especially the guitarist, usually played a Strat, and I don't think any of them were old enough to drink.

Electric Blue appears to be on the shelf, while their members are involved in other projects. Bassist Sean Johnson is in Flight 19, and guitarist Jim Tangeman is performing with Matt Wagner.

Personally I would love to see these guys doing the blues thing again. They were the first local band that I ever saw, and I was blown away. Not only did they do a lot of awesome classics and the typical Hendrix and SRV type blues, but form what I remember, they also did roots blues like Muddy Waters and such. That is awesome!

The amount of talent that was in that band was scary!!!! It will be interesting to see where the members will be as musicians in 20 or 30 years. I loved their stuff!!!
