Re: The Steelers' 20-19 win over the Ravens: "I thought I was gonna DIE"! So much for it being an easy win, but any win always feels good. I couldn't help but remember what someone had said about how they'd most likely screw up last night's game. Yikes!
WAY too close for comfort!

Great pictures! I'm fairly certain I know that beautiful young Lady, her Mom and Step-Dad. What the heck is she doing with the likes of you? (While talking to me and someone else at the Beyond Reason show, you said that you and I don't get along on here, so I'm now going to try my best to perpetuate that!
Actually, I'm having a hard time thinking of anyone you DO "get along" with on here.)

Good game last night. On a side note, Ben and Heath gave me the 24 points I needed to move into play-off position in my fantasy league
Rob,

Nice pictures man.

We listened to it at work. Man what a nail biter .. We were placing bets that they would lose. I can't believe they put Ben back in when he got hurt. Then if you weigh the options of either having him play hurt or Maddox play. Then, maybe putting Ben back in was a smart move then..

It was a really close game though .. To close. Of course they played like crap .. But, a win is a win. It's still fairly early in the season so we will see what happens ..

Looking back on past Steelers history, you can generally tell how they are going to play. The Steelers have a awesome team almost every year, however...when they show up to play, they only put forth the effor that they have to.

We took a bet yesterday that they would only beat the Ravens by 7 points. We were damn close. However, if they play a high calibur team this coming week, we'll blow them out by 14 points.

Steelers need to show up and play every game like it was a high calibur team, reguardless where they are a 2-4 team, or a 5-1 team.

If we could do that, I wouldn't be shy about betting the Steelers would dominate every game.

I've noticed that as well the past few years. I really believe that that is one of the things that comes back to bite them in the ass in the play-offs. Not playing your best every game, or at least putting forth the best effort, can become a tendency and that tendency will play out very naturally over time.

I hear you, I'm not a "fairweather fan"! I feel guilty saying anything bad...we need to do like "Tinkerbell" would say and "think happy thoughts"! :) Some of the passes/catches this year between Ben/Hines have reminded me a LOT of Bradshaw/Swann. "Those were the days!" I'm not a nail biter, not that I have any to bite....I tend to, at the very least, yell at the tv. You need to "let it out", girl! You said you're a Nurse, right? You know that meds are only a "temporary" fix, the side affects and interactions are BAD, trust me on that, plus stress like that will eventually boil over in some way, "not good"...or it will kill you! GOOOOO STEELERS!!!

Eh I don't really take that shit....if anyone would ask for a stress relief med fix, dat be it. I just think I need it to refrain from a long string of obscenities that are spewed at the tv during an intense game. Even getting down on the floor with my face in the screen, yelling! Gets the adrenaline going..and ya all know WHAT that produces!!! ENERGY buuuuu what 's steeler football without all that screaming?...whoo hoohooo GO FUCKING STEELLERS!
