Thanks for the kind words, Jim!

Jim Price wrote:...Up next was the first Altoona appearance from Pittsburgh’s Gasoline Dion. From Altoona, bassist Dave had known Jeff and was inspired by him. He, singers/guitarists Eric and Tommy and drummer Mike played a blend of punkish originals and punked-up covers. They opened with “She S**ts In Stereo,” and also performed humor-tinged originals such as “Pickle Farm” and “More Than You” (the latter with Steve Seymore joining in on bass). Also included were a Misfits number, and a punkish rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Suspicious Minds.” Gasoline Dion was spontaneous combustion onstage, demonstrating ample velocity, raw drive and touches of humor and chaos. Gasoline Dion’s first Altoona appearance received a good response from the Aldo’s audience, hopefully boding well for future return visits.
 The Dion thanks you fromt he bottom of our hearts! Glad you (& everyone else at Aldo's) dug the set!

For anyone who's curious or who liked it last time, we'll be in Altoona again this Friday for an All Ages show!

Gasoline Dion is also in this month's iissue of Pennsylvania Musician; you can pick up a copy Friday night when you're in town, and check out the website, www.pamusician.net (Check under "Articles/The Professor," and also "Hot Shots/Jim Price").

I should have some copies with me when I'm across the street doing the Roberts Beverages remote on Friday. Or if there is too much pandemonium at the remote, you can pick them up inside the door of the 4D's Lounge (located behind Roberts in the Pleasant Valley Recreation Center).

They also usually have them at Music Emporium. I always stop there at least to say hi to Tommy.

We think "Gasoline Dion was spontaneous combustion onstage, demonstrating ample velocity, raw drive and touches of humor and chaos." has pinned exactly what we're going for.
