Talk about voices!
Tonight, the first time in 12 years or so. Jeff Clappers voice gave out, he has been down all week with the frog! But in all the time ive played with him this is the first that he hadnt sang a song all night. I think this is pretty incredible since the guy is in his 50's, shhh, you didnt hear that from me! Our schedule is pretty intense week in and out and this is the first time i can remember this happening to Jeff. Hmmm, maybe ill call guinness book of records or sumthin.

I wondered why he didn't sing last Thursday. Shoulda said something, I'd have helped out, though I don't pretend to replace Jeff vocally. In his defense, because of the dry spring weather lately, we have had much higher pollen levels than usual for this time of year. It never gives me a stuffy nose, but it does affect my lungs and therefore, my voice. Plus it looks like I'm crying all the time, with the watery eyes.
