I just checked my mailbox at work, and there it was... A package from Sound Mind Music... My heart skipped a beat... John Petrucci's solo CD, "Suspended Animation", is here at last.

My confirmation email was from his wife, Rena. It's nice knowing that John will personally receive a nice chunk of my $15.00, no record company cut.

Yeehaw.
... and then the wheel fell off.

Amen to that. I always wondered what Marx would say about record companies. They're the ultimate "get rich off of other people's sweat, while simultaneously putting the screws to them too" entities.

I can only imagine how awesome that CD is, though.
