One of my favorite NRM memories happened sometime in the late 1990s, I think, shortly before the franchise closed its doors. I was browsing through the NRM in downtown Pittsburgh, when they were still selling vinyl. I was going through the cut-out bin, and found several copies of Tommi-Gunn's Public Enemy #1 album, marked down to 59 cents each, marked down from $7.99! But it got better...I was browsing the "jazz" section of the same cut-out area, and found Cut The Mustard's Razzle Dazzle album, now also 59 cents each, marked down from $1.99! I bought a copy of each, and still have the sealed copies with price tags on!

I remember the one in the Richland Mall, we used to go get some popcorn at Kmart then walk over and check out the cassettes. Most weekends :-)

Speaking of record stores, I remember a record store in Altoona on 18th street in the late "60's". Coming down Rt 36 into Altoona, it was located on the right, right after the 18th street overpass about a block before the UVA Club. Was it called "Custom Music? It was the place to go at that time for records. The building is still there.
