That one I know..."Classical Gas" by Mason Williams. Bonus question, Moxham. Williams was a part of a group of studio musicians who played on hundreds of top records in the 60s and 70s. Name the group, and for a bonus, who came up with the name for the group?

And the winner is..... Yes, it is Classical Gas by Mason Williams.

I was thinking maybe he was in the Wrecking Crew so I looked it up and can't find if he was but that does not mean he wasn't.

You are right, Moxham, Williams was a part of the Wrecking Crew. The name was coined by legendary drummer Hal Blaine. Well done. You have won a billion imaginary dollars, LOL. I really enjoy these, by the way. Gives me a great chance to put to use all those hours I spent while in radio reading the Billboard book and memorizing it for no apparent reason.
