guitar player with limited schedule wants to play BAD!!!

Post by lynch1 »

guitar player looking to join band in Altoona area. My work schedule is very limiting, but I want to play in the worst way. I sell cars at Blue Knob Auto, so I work til 10pm on Fridays, so they are out. I work til 9 on Saturdays, so the venue would have to be in the Altoona area, I wouldn't be able to help set up, but would gladly help tear down. Im only looking to play a couple times a month. I play classic rock, 80's hair metal, which is my favorite, and some newer stuff, just not the screamo crap. I really dont even care if I get paid (maybe gas money). I just wanna play already DAMNIT!!!!

you know Scott, a while ago we were talking, but I just couldn't fit it in my schedule, and now that I'm in somerset, I started playing again and messing with guitars like I used to, but I'm so far away from ya now. Really sucks, cause we'd prob have a good time.
I don't know anyone here anymore despite having grown up here, but I've been in Blair County the last 10yrs so alot has changed.

Best of luck on your search, I know that you have the passion to play and that's awesome. I'm sure that if you persist, you'll find some people.

It's too bad about the weekend thing, I know an 80s band looking for a guitar player, and they make decent $$ too.

I'm gonna be out to see u guys again when you get to playing in this area again. I love comin out to see you bunch of maniacs. Tell Tom to show u my new axe I got for Fathers Day.
