Needless to say, a huge icon in the development of rock'n'roll music's popularity. I probably heard of Dick Clark even before I started actually listening to rock'n'roll as a kid. I watched American Bandstand when I was little, and heard many hours of his Rock, Roll and Remember radio show when worked at WFBG-AM.
New Year's Eve will be different without his presence on the tube. R.I.P.

Dick Clark
I remember watching American Bandstand when it was in Philadelphia in the early years of rock and roll. Black and white TV. No such thing as cable, satellite, or VCR. Loved every minute of every show I ever saw. He will be missed by many. And he will meet a lot of the artists who have preceded him.
I love it when a plan comes together.
R.I.P. He surely will be missed.
