LODESTONE PRIMAL ARTIST 4 STRING JAZZ BASS

Post by MOONDOGGY »

Lodestone is an up-and-coming company that makes top quality Fender clones. They are a sister company to Ashdown amps.

This is a sweet J bass with some awesome features. Here's some of the more standard features:

- Poplar body
- Maple neck w/ Rosewood fingerboard
- Transparent black high gloss finish
- Chrome hardware
- Nice original gigbag

And here's some features that make this bass stand out from a lot of other Js:

- 24 frets w/ nifty inlays
- Active EMG pickups w/ 2-band EQ
- Individual bridges for each string w/ ceramic saddles!
- Nicely carved thick Burled Poplar top
- Laid back headstock tuners, similar to the old Trace Elliot basses

I bought this bass new from the only US Dealer who no longer carries Lodestone guitars. The Primal Artist model is $800-$1000 new, street price. And again, these are only available from UK dealers, so they're not exactly common. This is still in brand spankin new condition. The pics show some smudges, but there are no flaws. It's a killer sounding Jazz bass. I'm looking for $650 $625.

Dan,

This is so cool. I am looking for a used jazz as a gift, but its a little over my budget.

No luck with other sites! She's still up for grabs. And I'll knock $25 off for a local sale. $625

And just another good tidbit of info....I found out that this is handmade in the UK because it was from the first run of Lodestone instruments. All newer Lodestones are made cheaper in eastern Europe (Romania or Czech Republic?)

I'm now entertaining offers.

I'm not looking for much regarding trades. I need mostly cash, but I'm also in the market for a quality dual channel compressor (rackmount).
