It's amazing how much different, and how much the same most of these people really look. Granted, they're all famous, so it wouldn't surprise me if some of them have had things done to preserve their looks. But still... They're all pretty relatively recognizable[/code]

I thought Billy Idol aged well. As well Bret Michaels, Benatar, Stevie N., Tommy Lee, Axl Rose looks great, J. Jet, Petty, Bon Jovi and Courtney Love still look great.

Nikki Six looks fab and amazingly is a hunk still!! Richie Sambora also! wow! ageless!

Coverdale still a hunk but a little nip here and tuck there would turn back 20yrs for him. He should really consider it.

Special mention to Iggy Pop who @ 64 is still ripped to the bone! Not one ounce of fat on him anywhere! that's amazing because EVERYONE gets fatter as they age, and THAT is one reason we age so poorly.

Way to rock Iggy!!! 8)

Personally, I think we should leave our faces alone. Why is everyone so obsessed with being a false representation of what you once were? Age brings improvement, I think. My voice has gotten much better and yes, I'm no longer thin, but I feel good with my lines and Amazon stature. I'll be 50 years old on May 3rd and I feel strong, energetic and dammit very sexy!! Why not embrace the lines as the story told to get here and survive with grace?

Confidence lies within the self, not your size, in a face lift or tummy tuck.

Oh, and by the way - you do know that most celebrities pictures are photoshopped like crazy, right?

Only the ones you thought were attractive looked like they had work or were photo-shopped. The people you equate as "ugly" were natural. You get older, you are going to get wrinkles, your body will change. That is if you are a natural person. Only those who hide behind surgery are going to look un-naturally good. So what does that mean? Only those that can afford the procedures are going to look good. Can you afford them? If not I guess you are destined to be ugly.

wow, really? People are sooo shallow. I welcome my wrinkles. I earned EVERY one!

I mostly agree with you, but some of those people would have looked better if they hadn't been abusing drugs and alcohol for the past 30 + years because they wanted to be cool "rock stars". It wouldn't surprise me if most of the women had work done, though, alot of them looked like they were in pretty good shape. I can always appreciate someone letting themselves age gracefully, I think its a great thing to see in this day and age. I don't see anything wrong with taking care of yourself, eating right, exercising, etc but constant dieting, plastic surgery, spending tons of money on makeup and hair dye...that's vain and pathetic in my book. Of course, I'm the child of an incredibly vain woman who did all that, -bleached her hair continually, wore too much makeup all the time, bleached her teeth, crash dieted and starved herself, wore 3 inch heels until her joints started to go bad - so I guess I have first hand knowledge of the dark side of that lifestyle. I just can't see the positive in living that lifestyle, and I think we need to change the way worth is measured in our society. It should be measured by life experience, knowledge, intelligence...not appearance. The older you get, the more treasured you should become not vice versa. I suppose that's why I appreciate many Asian cultures so much. They have a great respect for the elderly, and I think we should learn to appreciate age also.
Okay, getting a little off topic, sorry.
