Thanks for the show. Uli demonstrated he is one of the greatest guitarists on the planet. Xander can shreddddd and he is a very cool cat. Nice guy to talk to.mts management wrote:Hope you guys enjoyed the show. What did you think of Xander Demos? He's actually one of my clients.
You should come out to the Altoona area. There are many talented bands here, just as good or better than those opening acts, IMHO.
BTW, the Altar Bar is a very cool venue, a great idea, take an old abandoned church and turn it into a bar for music.
Still disappointed the Leslie West could not make the gig.
i thought the guy was a hell of a guitar player. but, imho it woulda been a lot more interesting if he coulda slowed down a lil. this may sound a lil harsh, but after the first two songs i got bored. soo, theres my opinion (since the question was asked).mts management wrote:Hope you guys enjoyed the show. the band before uli, the golden ghosts. i really liked them. there stuff wasn't ridiculously difficult, but it was old school rock n roll and had a lot of heart into it. i loved them.
as far as uli goes, holy crap. that was amazing. at the end of the night when he busted out some hendrix it brought me to tears. very glad i went.
