Radio stations playing nothing but Christmas Music already.

Post by f.sciarrillo »

There are two stations in our area that are playing nothing but Christmas music already. They are Wowy 97.1 and True Country 94.3 (True Country is known as True Christmas throughout the holidays). This is kinda early? Everyone is starting early this year. Tv, dept. stores, etc. What gives?

ugh..yeah it does seem to be extremely early to me too, this year. I'm not sure why exactly but I wish it would stop!

Yeah! I just hate when some one holds a gun to my head and makes me listen to Christmas music over and over, a month before the holiday, so that I can't change the channel!!! Maybe you could ask Santa for one of those new-fangled Xm radios so you don't have to listen to the local bullshit stations all of the time!!!

well, thats all well and good until you go into a local store, the worst probably being WalMart, who has been blasting the stuff at full volume probably since the beginning of November.

Ya know, I kinda enjoy it when the Christmas music comes out. I know it's getting close when I start looking forward to TSO getting back to Pittsburgh.

I enjoy the Christmas Music also, it is just a little too early to start playing it. Also, TSO is going to be at the Jordan Center next month.

Don't like Christmas music except on Christmas eve/day. Thats all I can take. Love Christmas...could do without the music and ugly decorations.
Next year they will be starting this in October.

If not for my wife and our small children I could give a shit less about the holiday's and the greed it brings out in people. As far as the music goes...on the eve and actual day is o.k. anything before that is just fucking annoying. IMO
