I am thinking of a band. This band was started by Kansas front man John Elefante and his brother Dino. This band was a christian rock band. Can you name this band?

You are probably confusing Petra with Mastedon. They produced some albums for Petra which is a Christian band. The band they formed was Mastedon, which is a metal band.

Actually, Jeff, it is Mastedon. I didn't read John Elefante's wikipedia page, but according to Mastedons wikipeida page, they are a christian band. Of course they could be wrong. There was also two bands with the same name but spelled different. One was spelled Mastedon and the other was spelled Mastodon. Mastedon is the christian rock band and Mastodon is the metal band.

I didn't know that John Elefante was involved with Petra. That is reallly cool. I will have to look into him some more. Thanks for the info.

I stand corrected...looks like they are a Christian Metal band.

John Elephante's bio mentioned metal but not Christian for Mastedon.
