Bartlett is a former fiscal conservative. He is now a promoter of Keynesian economics, a real conservative would rather kiss Obama on the lips than live under Keynesian policies.

Keynesian economics are the reason that we are $14.5 TRILLION IN DEBT.

Bill is proud of his reality. The current reality of $4.5 Trillion Debt. The future reality of $60 Trillion unfunded entitlements when the baby boomers retire within the next 20 years.

Be real proud of that Bill, no one else is.

GW may have been the start, but Obama pushed us over the edge. It will take decades to clean up this mess we are in.

Every politician that doesn't support a complete overhaul and simplification of the tax code is quite simply full of shit.

Messing around with the present tax code is nothing but spit shining a turd.

Puppeticians---good word B. They are all there at the whim of the big bankers and FED executives who give them orders. The TARP and stimulus should have gone to the people, not to big banks and Goldman Sacks and AIG.

First-quarter output was sharply revised down to a 0.4 percent pace from 1.9 percent. The Kenyan is doing a great job ruining this country.

None of this really matters. At present, there is only 1 piece of legislation regarding the debt problem--from the house republicans--and as is typical of DC politicians, it falls so short of fixing the problem that passing it is just a waste of time.

It probably won't pass because since Obama took office, congressional democrats have suspended the legislative process and want to make back room deals rather than go through the procedure that has been standard with every Congress up until 2009. During the two years they had complete power, they didn't even pass a budget! This gave Obama unprecedented power of the purse that can only be described as a dictatorship. Nobody noticed.

Don't want to be an American Idiot.

Then there is Harry Reid's mythical proposal. From what I've heard, its akin to using a band-aid to fix a severed caroted artery. Of course, we don't know for sure because nobody has actually seen it.

Meanwhile, Candidate Obama pre-empts national primetime with nothing more than his dick in his hand, a campaign speech and no plan to speak of. Oh, I almost forgot...he also brought a working teleprompter with him.

I wish Ron Paul could seize primetime TV time and use it for his 2012 campaign.

So, I hope you all listened to me during the past few months and re-arranged your IRAs and 401Ks cuz that brick wall I mentioned several times in the past two years is in plain sight now.

The ass clown will soon be history. Only a 40% overall approval rating.

Independent voters only have a 34% approval rating.

Yeah, it is a given that Obama won't be re-elected. Nothing he has done helped. It only made things worse.

The house passed the Boehner bill tonight, and the senate blocked it. Does it sound surprising? The dems want to raise taxes and spend more money. The Repubs want to make cuts; don't want to raise taxes; and don't want to spend more money. There is that drunkin sailor image again, Dems.

In bygone days, the Senate would have amended the bill to their liking and sent it back to the House for consideration. This is how the process of compromise that everyone is howling about is supposed to work. Not anymore. We are expected to devolve to Chicago politics and do everything in a closed back room before shoving it thru for a vote. That way, nobody reads the final legislation that isn't worth the paper its printed on.

Neither party is willing to make the political sacrifice necessary to preserve the good credit of the Republic. As I said before, this out of control government will dismantle itself. When the dust settles, if the world decides that the dollar is no longer the world's exchange currency, it will mean the end of the world's American era. I hope everyone is good at gardening.

That doesn't really mean anything. All the polls show that he is losing to republican candidates and his approval is the lowest it has been yet. 67% of people think this country is going in the wrong direction, and his job of with the economy is a shambles. I will be very surprised if he gets re-elected. Even if he raises 1 billion dollars.

US debt shot up $238 billion to reach 100 percent of gross domestic project after the government's debt ceiling was lifted, Treasury figures showed Wednesday.

The last time US debt topped the size of its annual economy was in 1947 just after World War II.

Obama is an idiot...He will be the death of this country and the freedom we know, well, what's left of it anyways. He is destroying the economy and parading around like he fucking knows something. Whoever thinks this jackass is doing a great job needs to have their head examined. The United States of America is falling apart at the seams and our government just really don't give a shit, sure, they talk the talk but at the end of the day it's the working middle class that suffer the most. Obama wants to tax the wealthiest Americans, guess what? The middle class will pay for that in the end too. Raising taxes on the business owners will have a trickle down effect on us all. You want more revenue coming into Washington? Create jobs and put people back to work. If Obama gets re-elected in 2012-God help us all,we will need it. If I was still serving in the USMC,it would be very tough to look at and respect him as the Commander in Chief,I can't even imagine it.

The Dow dropped over 700 points in the past week - 500 today alone. I wonder who's fault that is? I know who the dems blame, but is it seriously? I don't think so. Once the economy gets better you will see it start to go up again. Until then, it will continue to tank. That is what happens when you have a clueless Pres.

Maybe I'm just young and dumb, but THE PRESIDENT IS A FIGUREHEAD!

It doesn't matter if it's Obama, GW, Clinton, Hogan, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, f.sciarrillo, robthedrummer, or Ghandi. The President can't do jack without Senate and House approval. I could go in there and have the absolute greatest proposals in the flipping world, but if House and Senate can't agree with it, then I can't pass them. Voting in an actual douche or turd sandwich (I love South Park) instead of Obama, mcCain, Hillary, or whoever, would have the same results because both sides can't agree to put differences aside. They all vote on what gets them the most in their bank accounts, plain and simple.

Again, I may be young and dumb, but just my observations.

Very true, but the president does have one strong tool. He had a veto pen. If someone like Ron Paul was in the White House, he would use the veto more than all the presidents ever combined. He would veto any unConstitutional bill and any bill that spends more money than they take in. A government shut down is a much better thing than the debt cap extension they just passed. This government has only about 5 years before the whole thing crashed. Very soon, the yearly interest on the debt will be $1 Trillion. We will have to borrow money just to pay the interest on the ever expanding debt. We are bankrupt and running on fumes.

When Pelosi was running things in the House and they were spending unaccountable trillions without a budget, I called him Congress's rubberstamp.
