I only ever saw him on Tosh.0, mildly amusing at best, at least for me. YMMV. Everyone was raving about him, and I had to check it out... I guess it was one of those things where you hear so much, you expect alot, then you get let down. The writing is kinda flat... it's another one of those shows like Demetri Martin, where you wait for that one punchline that makes the whole half-hour, and when he delivers it, it's funny, but that's all you get. I liked guys like Chappelle, where it was a punchline every few seconds.

You cant base your opinion on his comedy on the Tosh.0 show.
check out some of his specials. He is pretty damn funny. He crosses the line quite a bit.
The Tosh.0 show is a bit limiting. Its better to hear him where he controls what goes on. Just my opinion.

He has a comedy special thats been airing on comedy central called "Happy thoughts". Its pretty hilarious. His cd "true stories i made up" is a fucking riot. I pee a little every time I listen to it.

Last night I watched his "completely serious" stand up on netflix which is what inspired this thread. He makes me laugh my ass off.
