Time for some heavy duty 70s progressive music. I saw Gentle Giant open for Humble Pie at the Johnstown War Memorial Arena back in the early 70s and they were incredible. These guys were really great multi-instrumentalists. One of my all time favorite bands.

Supergroup with Jeff Beck and Tim Bogart and Carmine Appice from Vanilla Fudge and Cactus with their version of Superstition.

Beck, Bogert & Appice - Superstition

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBpSeyk1 ... re=related

The song was written by Stevie Wonder in 1972 when Wonder was twenty-two years old. Jeff Beck created the original drum beat while in the studio with Wonder when he played guitar on Wonder's Talking Book album. After writing the song Wonder offered it to Beck to record, but at the insistence of Berry Gordy Wonder himself recorded it first. Jeff Beck recorded his own version of "Superstition" as a part of Beck, Bogert & Appice in 1972 on their debut album which was released in 1973.
