I heard on the Buzz this morning that just recently some 100 lb. girl from Princeton actually finished one of those behemoths! First time anyone has done it apparently...

I've never attempted Denny's six-pounder. I might attempt the two-pounder sometime. (Two-pounder? 1 1/2-pounder? I forget, whatever their small huge burger is...) I'll fast a day or so before trying it though.

Besides the huge burgers, though, Denny's food kicks ass! I like to stop there for a meal when I'm passing through and my schedule allows it...

Yea, back in the 969 days we would have almost 500 people show up at "THE ROCK" to see us. It's nothing like that now!

Oh yeah, The Rock - I played at that place when I was like 14. Good times.

Lone Wolf (my old country band, not my esteemed colleague) used to pack 'em in up there in C-field. It was a love/hate thing... loved the sound of the VFW, hated the long drive home at 4 am. Loved the devoted fans at the Eagles Club, hated that goddamn load-in/out (the steepest steps in the world, like out of an Escher drawing). It sort of dried up as we burned out from playing there 3 weekends a month for a couple of years... it's one of the reasons I quit for 5 years.
I wish I'd never seen that Useless Junk webby... I've been on it off and on all day... there's some good cheesecake-type stuff on there... though not all work-friendly if you know what I mean. 8) ---->JMS

That Dennys place just had it in the paper that some 100 lb college chick ate that whole burger, with the whole onion, 2 tomatoes, cup of mayonaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, and half a leaf of lettuce. Crazy stuff.

Le-sigh. Once more, the man strikes again! I can't see it because it's deemed "Pornography" on this computer. ::rolls eyes:: It's hilarious. I can't bring up these kind of things but I can type in a bondage site addy and it goes straight through. Ah, educational standards at their finest..

However...is this something like a double-Claire's Burger? (Ashville Inn/Claires)

I didn't know they had a double clare burger! I eat there every wednesday, I usually eat 2 of them myself. I'll have to check into that. It's the best price you pay for a burger, 4 and change, for one pound of meat, it's the best!
