What is this really? A Gibson? An Epiphone (Epifone)?

Can you show a pic maybe?

Is there such a thing!?

The truss rod cover plate sez Gidson and on the peg head it sez Epiphone and it looks like a strat body.

the model of this guitar is s-310
its an older epiphone from the
late 80s to early 90s.

Yup, they do say Gibson on the truss rod cover in that era. They're Epi, usually Korean-made, and often have a ply body. Still, they tend to have a sound of their own, with a plinky attack, and not a long sustain. That may sound bad, but it does lend itself to clean, fast picking.
Worth it. Especially if it's solid-body.

I have a solid Alder body Yamaha guit-fiddle. Front loaded like a Strat. Good wood. Half of it is stripped down and I'll have to look but I may have a old Kramer Laminate body around here. trade both plus $10.00 straight up..
If Freedom is not free then I will use my credit card.
