i'm more worried about what is going to happen 12-31-09. you know, the year the western calendar runs out... what are we going to do? we only have a few months left till the end of time

i guess it's a shame the mayans aren't around to hang their new calendar up.

Matthew 24:4-5 can also be interpreted to be weary of those who CALL someone a messiah. Its a stretch, but I found it funny

The bible is a good guide for those who need something like that, but it was written by the hand of man and tainted as such. If Obama wrote a new book of the bible, you'd never accept it. Yet the thoughts and feelings that can exist in Obama, Bush, anyone, also existed in those who wrote the bible. Even the thirst for power.

That said, there is nothing wrong with learning from the mistakes of the past and most of the primal ones are covered in there. But nothing is mentioned towards the continuation of the species beyond 'thou shalt not kill' and the like, and they don't spend enough time dwelling on how we should respect the earth and take care of it.

But I've found the more you see someone thump the thing, the less time they have spent actually reading it and living it.

Eh... Just use your computer calendar for 2010... Make some new calendars up and sell them....

however.. The computer calendar ends Dec 31, 2099 lol (well mine does anyways)

But the only way the world is going to end is due to Man.. Man built it... man can destroy it... Man cant create weather... So thats just something that helps out man in destroying the planet

Well the next computer scare date is Jan 19, 2038.
