Take for instance: At a show in the Oceola Hotel, one of my friend's bands played and was asked to let the "house band" open. To speed up the transition, the drummer in my friend's band decided to let the "house band" use their drum set. What happened? This jackass drummer from the "house band" beat the hell out of the drums and damaged every head...
Because of this little lesson: If I don't know the person well enough to know they are going to be respectful of my equipment - ain't no way I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. If I have anything that could be easily broken (as a singer - the only thing I'd care about is my wireless microphone), I would NEVER let anyone I don't personally know use it - regardless of how long it delayed a multi band show.
