Waiting on a conformation and the lineup is set, there will be a 6 to 9 jam session after the bands. Hopefully there are enough musicians support to have 3 hours worth of jamming. I will also be posting a flyer and if everyone could help and print and post them at there shows would be great.

Cool, if there's an actual "Jam", I may attend.

Maybe we could invite Geist to attend and some other reps, and have a 1 on 1 chat about our problems.

With the possibility of tropical weather systems impacting our weekend weather, is there any contingency plan in case we get rain on Sunday? Stage coverings? Rain dates?

Not to sound like the devil's advocate, but I know people will be wondering...

I have a 10X20 foot canopy which might help!! The biggest problem would be it will not take any amount of wind.

I could use something like that to set up over my equipment at the mixing console. Its kinda big for just me, but we could grab a couple of picnic tables and it could also serve as Rockpage HQ. Maybe have a stack of noise rule petitions and other memorabilia.

JP usually brings his camcorder and sets it up next to the sound engineer, so that would be a good place for him as well.

I'll be there by 10:00am Sunday a.m. if you would like to bring it.

Althouth this shouldn't be a problem for most of the bands already scheduled, I just wanted to pass along a reminder and request to keep a lid on any major swearing onstage during the festivities on Sunday.

The Railroaders Museum is a public place, and there are bound to be some family types with small children around, plus senior citizens, and we don't want to give those folks any reason to complain to the Museum about swearing. Also, the Museum is within earshot of the Green Avenue Towers, and if the bluehairs living there hear swearing, they may call the police, which could cause problems.

So please use discretion onstage this Sunday, it could go a long way towards the Museum hosting other live music events of this sort in the future. Thanks!

I'll bring the canopy down it doesn't take long to setup. Someone else might have to tear it down and take it with them for later pickup !! Its rather easy.

Hey All,

How do we (and can we) get our vehicles in behind the stage at the Altoona Railroaders Museum? And how close to the back of the stage can we get?

Are we gonna need passes or anything?

Thanks.

The latest weather forecast (3 AM) indicates smooth sailing. Charley's remains should be well out of our hair.
