Chuck, I am ver surpised at how easy this went together! You couldn't have wanted a better 'first project'. It sounds and plays really well also.

PS you're gonna have to learn some Whitesnake riffs to play on that yellow Kramer.
When I was over there and you left the room, the Kramer told me it wants to play some Whitesnake.....juss sayin'

How about some Twisted Sister or Quiet Riot?
Anything would be good but Stryper or Bon Jovi.
I gotta find some people to jam soon.
But this doesn't mean I want to start an 80's
COCK ROCK cover band. I love the hair bands
but I'd rather not play in one. I can't play that shit
anyway. Give me 3 chords and some D-beat drumming!

That Kramer being all yellow and stuff reminds me of CC DeVille's guitars, cause he had alot of yellow BCRich's and what not.

Love the color man! It needs a black bullseye on it though

I dig it. It reminds me of those old school Charvels that were based on Strat styles.

And CC had some of the coolest guitars. I like watching old Poison videos just to see him play 20 different axes in a four minute span.

Paul, I agree 100% and that's the #1 reason why I am in love with the 80's guitars so much.
They are not only a means to play, but also somewhat of a 'billboard' so to speak because each of them make a statement about the player.
They just weren't as boring as a regular Strat or Gibson and kind of defined the era.
(Nothing wrong with Fender/Gibson)
Although Fender entered the market with their HM strat which was total coolness!

I enjoy watching videos of the glam bands because it was a visual experience as well as a listening experience.
CC had some very nice BC Rich's back in the day in my opinion.

It makes it hard for me to think of an original idea for a refinish, cause everything's been done before!

Love the old Jackson/Charvel's, Kramer,BCRich,ESP, they were all sweet!

One thing I really liked about the 80s guitars were that many of them didn't have rounded bodies. Don't get me wrong - rounded bodies are cool and are probably a little easier to play on, but there's just something really cool about a nonrounded body. It seems like rounded bodies are the norm right now, but I hope that nonrounded body sides come back into fashion again for a little while.
