I have alot of bands that I hold dearly, but out of all of them it is probably

Black Sabbath - Both Ozzy and Dio years

Priest/Maiden are tied for #2

Man, I can't really say I have a favorite anymore. First it was Kiss, then Priest, then Rush, but then I found a few other genres, and the whole thing busted wide open.
I can't even say I have a favorite genre, if you forced me, I'd say bluegrass, but damn, I still love Priest and Rush, and old country, Americana, oldtime, Texas Hill-Country Honkytonk, and the blues, c'mon man, you could just dive into the blues and explore that one genre forever. I totally agree with Songsmith. I have so many bands that I love and mean so much to me as a person and as a musician. So many bands in so many genres.
But if I had a gun held to my head and had to pick. I have 2 that are tied.
