I don't know if Rick carries Martin at the Emporium or not. If not, I know Ford Music - downtown - can beat Musicians Friends Prices on Martins.

if it is one of the composite material Martins I would avoid it......They are a price point seller....just like when you see a new car for $10,995 and your lucky if it comes with a radio........They don't sound bad, but...

That's the problem I am having deciding what I need and want. I like the idea of an onboard tuner but do I really need one??? There are different types of pick ups do I need the aura? I like the small body and the low Oval neck. What wood and finish has the best sound? I don't want the composit material. I have used my fender newporter since 1976. I really like it but it has no pick ups and limits me. Thank you for your time Debbie

Thanks Ron what Model and size do you have? What type of Amp do you use? I have a fender G-dec for my Strat's it's a good practice amp. I will need a little more power to play out. I will pass along the promo to Ed.
Thanks again Ron for letting me pick your Brain Debbie Bush

Thanks Ron that will save me a few bucks on an amp. I took your advice and bought it yesterday. I was up all night like Christmas.
Thanks again

To see mine in action Look for J.P. posting from the Jeff Wallack benefit at Aldo's.Todd Lane was making it Purr on a couple of Ballads.
We covered a few special songs that night for our Fried Jeff.

Well, to be honest, spell check wouldn't help anyhow. Proofreading would.

Hey Deb,
If you are still looking go to the local shops and try a few, when I was shopping for one it was hard each one has its own flavor and feal. I went shopping for a martin and when I was done I came home with a gibson, I'm not saying the gibson is better, it is what I liked and when it came down to it I was stuck between the gibson I own now and a taylor I just got a better deal on the gibson.
My point is don't buy a acoustic on line
