Great Post! but....
Unfortunatly the other day I was verbally assaulted by a Mr Sinman. This gentleman is a Leader, a Catylyst, a Pillar of the community ( in his own words! Sort of )I notice that he does not post very often. But for the safety of my family I will not be giving out any info.
To the 99.9 % rest of you, you know me. I go to shows all the time and make it a point to introduce myself regulary. I really think this is a great community for sharing ideas. I have been looking at things a little differently since listening to many of the opinions on this board.
I look forward to sharing ideas and conversation with all of you in the future!
And I do know what "Catalyst" means, it was "Catylyst" that threw me off!

And it sounds like you're doing a pretty good job with that. Good for you!!!! Too many people are wage slaves, stuck in some job that they hate, because that's what society tells them they should be doing. It's great to see someone actually pursuing something they are good at, love with all of their heart, and are making their livelihood from. All throughout my life, I've always heard about how there's "No money in music" (usually by non-musicians), after I began playing professionally, I found out how much bullshit that really is. Again, it's great to see someone doing what they love, and prospering from it.redawg wrote: I'm not trying to get famous. I just want to make a living doing what I love most.
p.s. Man, my post count is getting mega-high.

Hi. I'm Lisa Myers and I'm not an alcoholic. They go to meetings or become quitters. I am a DIT though. Drunk - in - training. So encourage me. Buy me Jager or Yukon. ::noddles::
I play lead guitar in my own personal air band. Le-sigh.. see, I can't have a real band because the shirt told me I was to have "No job, no car, but I'm in a band." and...well.. I'm employed and have wheels.
So I do the second best thing in the world... Take pictures of your bands! I'm the local flasher. Lot of you have seen me and it's cool when I'm recognized (Dwertz and Onetooloud made my night!!!). I'm also the moral compass to Jason, Jamie, and ESY...and personal consultant to April and etc. for boyfriend-getter-backer-atters. (Full time position, hiring help. Most supply your own lighter, other affects are provided.)
Oh.. I'm also the area stalker. I live in the eqwipment bags of Mike, Bobby, Jimmy and... that kilt wearing sex god known as Hatt. ::shivers::
Just call me Esa

Hi all, Im Steve, drummer for The Nightcrawlers. State College based original/cover band. www.the-nightcrawlers.com
I dont post very often, but enjoy coming to the sight to see what everyone is saying. The political rants on this forum get a bit out of hand, but are entertaining to read. Quite a cast of characters I suspect. I hope to get out to see some of the bands here.

I'm Terri as you can tell from my screen name. I'm dumb enough to not know that I was choosing my real name when I set up my rockpage account. Whoops! Anyway, I"m the female lead singer for Ribbon Grass and have been in Midnight Grafitti before that and the Ted Baxter Experience before that. Thank you and good night!

Don't feel bad Terry I did the same thing when I signed up, I emailed Ron and He fixed me up though.
Since I'm here, I'm Tony from Never Enough
If my posts offend anyone its probably because I came home from the bar around 1 or 2 or 3AM saw a post and decided to be a smartass, Ron should really block me from posting anytime after midnight for my own safety

I'm Staceman, 33/male, and you can call me Stace. I'm an aspiring vocalist who can sing Ozzy-era Sabbath like nobody's business, and I'm told that I do a pretty mean Eric Burden as well.
Unfortunately, this kind of style/range limits me greatly, and thus I've never really been successful in hooking up with the traditional styled bar bands of the area. Finally coming to terms with this recently, I still don't plan on giving up on singing, and thus, if there's anyone out there looking to start a band that my style would fit into, contact me!

I remember seeing Tight Squeeze when I was a teenager, around 1987-ish, at the old Everett Theater in Everett. Unless I'm confusing this with another band...Hi! im Bobby from the Hurricanes, M/38/PA. Pasts bands include Tight Squeeze...

I never post on here, but what the hell.
My name is Mike and I teach trombone and piano, as well as work with some local high schools' marching programs with RobTheDrummer. I am a former member of the Jägermeister-sponsered band Wolfpac from Philadelphia, and played lead baritone for the Reading Buccaneers. I am currently trying to help G-Force Senior Drum and Bugle Corps get through their first competitive season.

Hmmm...Why do I get the feeling this is the same person that played Trombone with us at our last show @ The Bar. Great night and so much fun. Tonight, we had Dave Single demonstrate some great fiddle skills on Devil Went Down To Georgia. In fact, the crowd loved it so much, we had him come back up to do the song a second time later in the night. I cannot thank everyone here enough for making this local music scene so awsome!!! This area is blessed and I'm glad to be a part of it.RM wrote:I never post on here, but what the hell.
