I have been using the D112 inside the kick about 6 inches from beater, slightly off center. Then I blend in a Marshall MXL (something something...) Not sure of the model number but its a large diaphram mic with a cardiod pattern (cheap also). This blend is great. Its not hard to set up for the phase...

I still have a few days open. I will be available to run sound from the beginning of December thru New Years. On a side note, I have two sets of Subs for sale. Fender 18's and EV dual 15's. I need to move these beasts, so let me know if interested. Thanks.
