I was listening to one of my favorite Sirius Satellite stations and they had this song on there that I liked. I got the cd, now I am in a state where it has been in my head for four flipping days, and, I can not for the life of me quit listening to it.

It is the song "Majesty (Here I Am)" by Delirious? - They are a christian rock band, it's a pretty good song. The band is pretty good also. Check them out ..

Anyway, have any of you ever had a problem like this ?? having a song stay in your head for a prolonged period of time, and not being able to stop listening to it ?? if so what one was it ???

WOW there are so many songs that have done that to me but right now I would have to say that the song Black Hearts Now Reign by UNEARTH is always stuck in my head.... If you are into the harder side of Rock you have to check this Boston Band out. Twisted Evil

I have to admit, lately I have been getting tired of the same old songs being aired or even listening to the same old CD's. Dont get me wrong my two favorite stations are of course Q94 and Rocky 104, but I was channel surfing because reception was bad in the area I was in and found some awesome tunes being played on 107.9. Low and behold it was christian rock. Wow some great music was being put out on those air waves. Give it a try.

Most recently, I picked up the newest CD by Dishwalla. There are a couple of tracks on there that I like very much and haven't gotten tired of.

Some songs just don't seem to burn, no matter how much airplay they get. I'm still not tired of that first big hit from Lifehouse and that came out years ago. I like Switchfoot's stuff too. I could listen to "Hey You" or "Better Off Without You" by the Clarks on repeat and probably never get tired of either.

I used to like classic rock, but I'd rather gargle razor blades than listen to Q94 or even WDVE anymore. It isn't a reflection on the station's quality, but rather the format itself.

Remedy - Seether

This is probably my favorite rock song to come out in a long time. I don't know what it is about it. Real catchy. I hear it in my head every day. Doesn't it remind you of Nirvana a little?

The song that has been stuck in my head for the last few days for some reason is Drop It Like It's Hot by Snoop Dogg and Pharrell. I have no idea why this song is in my head. I like this song but not that much that it should stay in my head like that.

Dinner Lady Arms from The Darkness. If you're into the Sweet/Queen-styled vocals, the new Darkness album is a must have.

Bring on the glam! Speaking of which, I've got Slade's "Bangin' Man" lodged in my skull.

Glad to see someone else with the Clark's on the brain. We cover " Better Off Without You " and I love to do it but " Born to Late " is the one that I play over and over.

Slade rocks. Used to have the best stuff on the old Midnight Special show in the 70's. "Ma-Mamma, we're all crazy now"

this happens to me EVERY TIME i get out of the car. whatever the last song i heard on the radio is, it is stuck in my head until i hear something else. sometimes i sit in my car and wait until a song comes on that i really like so i don't have something annoying stuck in my head all day! occasionally i'll luck out and pass music playing out of a radio somewhere that will change the song for a few hours... maybe i should see a psychiatrist about this... lol.

So weird you say that RAM...I woke up this morning with "Fast Enough To Fly" in my head. Doug and I cowrote that with Brad Smith and Emily Roley at a very dark Music Row studio at 4 in the morning, after partying pretty hard. I came up with the premise of the song based on the mood of the tune, which I seldom do, and some pretty decent lyrics as well. I also have Doug's "Letter To Mary" on the brain lately, too.
December 30th at Rockhill/Orby Legion! .OO Buck will be playing, too!--->JMS

f.sciarrillo,

I know what you mean about Lifesong by Casting Crowns. It is a very infectious melody that stays with you.

Another new song that I keep hearing that sticks is Todd Agnew's song, In The Middle of Me. A bluesy/funky simple groove.

I wouldn't laugh, that's a GREAT tune. Cool

The 1 I can't forget, that I haven't even heard in a while, is Santana's new one, "Just Feel Better", sung by Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. I wonder if beans had anything to do with the writing of that tune? Very Happy

On "repeat" right now...

"I Fucking Hate You" - Godsmack

Some Lyrics:

..."The only thought I get of you sickens me
Everybody knows you're fake

You're everything I fucking hate
and I'm everything that you could never be"

You pull me down and you crucify my name
You make me insane

It's broken now don't ever look my way

Don't even think I'm playin'
'Cause I fucking hate you!"...
