It's not entirely his fault. There are several factors that are leading up to this minor miscalculation.

1. He is watching the lead guitar player who is only set up to do a 270 degree spin even though he claims he will do a 360 for the video.

2 He sees that the other 3 have already landed early because
a. the rhythm player only jumps one inch above his 8 inch tall guitar amp. and ...
b. the lead player has not attained enough twisting momentum to complete the aforementioned 360.

3. The tiny footprint and tall center of gravity of the pathetic excuse for a bass amp was not sufficient to overcome the wind resistance from the ridiculous blue vest he was wearing for padding. (Always buy your own bass amp and clothes instead of using hand me downs)

4. You can tell by the long shadows, It must be late in the day and I'll bet they are all very tired and hungry from setting up all that equipment. (hire a road crew if you are using more than a 2 piece drum kit and 8 inch speakers)

5 Someone should have reminded him that he has no rhythm, balance or coordination. (Never trust your friends to stop you from doing stupid things)

Lucky thing for him he was the bass player and couldn't feel anything anyway. If that would have been the guitar player....there surely would have been whaling and gnashing of teeth.
